Guardian Homes
Guardian homes enable breeding dogs to live one-on-one with their family while they are participating in my program. They are loved and cared for by the same family they will be living with when they retire.
We are currently looking for a guardian home for a small little boy and one of our current Charli girls.
Why guardian homes?
I utilize guardian homes to expand my breeding program while maintaining a manageable number of dogs in my own space. Our philosophy revolves around the belief that all dogs should be cherished members of a family.
For the placement of our dogs, I exclusively choose trusted friends and family as guardians. Building on a foundation of familiarity and trust, I refrain from placing guardian dogs in the care of strangers.
Most of our Mamas deliver and whelp their puppies in the comfort of our home. Guardian families are encouraged to visit their Mama pups during the six-week whelping period. For those guardians overseeing the whelping process in their homes, they either possess prior breeding experience or undergo thorough training provided by me.
I am actively involved in the journey, present on the day the pups are born, and make weekly in-person visits to capture precious photos and videos of the growing puppies. Regular communication, including daily chats or texts, ensures that everything is proceeding smoothly.
